I house all of these game cases in Naki's Nintendo DS G-pak Organizer Black. I like to keep things uniform but that doesn't seem possible now.Of course, if I can't find the old model, I'll most likely use these as they are still a great way to store games. I don't use the the mesh game cart pouches as there are not enough slots for the amount of games I have, but it's good extra padding for protection. I have over 50 DS games now, most of which are stored in these cases. I can still fit several more of these ALS cases inside. I don't know the usefulness of the keyhole, but maybe ALS will produce the old model sometime again.P.S.
Additionally, divider(s) come with the case, padded fabric with velcro ends to stick to the case's walls (up and down), and this is a good way to bundle your game cases inside and secure them. I've been using these since before I can remember, probably around the time they first came out. My point is: I have so many of the old model cases (w/o the keyhole) and now ALS has changed the case and added a keyhole for whatever reason. I use this case solely for housing these game cases.
You can't get more space friendly than this, I have a nice little stack of these holding my collection of DS games. I have about a dozen so far. Not much to say, but this is my case of choice for Nintendo DS games. If my collection grows I just pick up another pack of these.
A good product but check around locally for one that will ultimately cost less due to the shipping costs. Ranking - 5 stars for the cases themselves; 3 stars for the shipping costs through this vendor. I noticed a newer version of this type of case that holds 16 games at a time. I also now wish I would have a larger case to hold more games for extended travel as the three cases tend to move around a lot in my DS mini back pack storage container.so finding the "right" case with the game I want to play is often funny as the last pack I pick up is the one with the game. HOWEVER, I was initially going to purchase them via vendor through Amazon until I tallied up the cost of the cases and shipping. I like these storage cases (three to a pack) for I can easily take four games with me (3 in case; 1 in DS) during short trips; or take all cases when gone for longer periods of time and need more game variation. The plastic cases are inexpensive and small.shipping should NOT be excessive IMHO. You might want to go with that, particularly if you have Amazon Prime, which over time saves money on shipping costs, and if you have more than 12 games (I am getter there).Lastly - I have had NO trouble with the cases breaking or generally storage/holding ability of the cases (the one described for this review).
Those cases held four games and fit in my DS backpack and was hoping to be able to buy more of those, but they are not available. 3 cases that hold 3 games for only $5.
I love them. The games sit perfectly in the slots and mine don't rattle around like some reviewers have said.
The cases are very slim and sturdy. I have since filled these cases and am buying another set.
I needed to buy some extra game cases because I filled up the ones that came with an accessory pack I bought with my DS. I found these and they are perfect.
They're not completely clear but you can see what games it holds perfectly.
Then I realized there was no way I could carry around the big game cases around with me. I have a few friends who just throw their games around like they don't mean anything.
Woo. Other game cases aren't as flexible as these.
But you definitely want to invest in these cases, cause you can carry your top favorite 3 games, or top 9 if you want. I'm actually going to buy another set cause I'm getting more games for Christmas.
So I got a pack of 3 of these as a Christmas gift and I was a little skeptical about storing my DS games to begin with. Then I kept getting games and I finally got a small Legend of Zelda carrying case for my DS, and my games fit perfectly inside my case, and the 3 cases fit perfectly inside my DS case. These are great for storing your DS games, they're sealed tight, look good on display, and it keeps them safe.
Most other ones on the market are huge and bulky and are great if you have a huge library of games I guess, but that doesn't logically work with the "on the go" readiness of the DS and a combination of these cases is a great idea.Definitely recommend these.
